NAD+ Therapy
A longer, slower infusion for cellular energy and healthy-aging support, delivered wherever you are in the Charlotte metro.
NAD+ is the longest appointment we offer, and that is worth knowing before anything else. Most drips on our IV menu wrap up in under an hour. An NAD+ infusion usually takes 60 to 120 minutes, because the compound has to run slowly to stay comfortable. If you can accept the time commitment, here is what you are signing up for.
What NAD+ is and who books it
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell of your body. It is central to how cells turn nutrients into energy and how they manage repair. Levels decline naturally with age, which is why NAD+ shows up in conversations about cellular energy and healthy aging. An IV delivers it directly into the bloodstream along with fluids, skipping digestion entirely.
The people who book it with us tend to fall into a few groups: adults focused on long-term wellness, people working through stretches of mental fog or low energy, and clients who pair periodic NAD+ sessions with regular hydration visits. Depending on the formulation, the bag may also include fluids, electrolytes, and B vitamins. The exact formulary is set by our medical director, and pricing is confirmed when you book.
Why the drip runs slow
NAD+ infused too quickly can cause flushing, chest pressure, or queasiness. These effects typically ease when the nurse slows the rate, which is why the drip starts slow and the pace follows how you feel. Tell your nurse right away if you notice any discomfort during the infusion. The 60 to 120 minute window exists because your comfort sets the speed, not the clock. Anti-nausea support can be added when it makes sense.
Since we come to you, the time is easier to spend than it sounds. Most clients answer email, read, or watch TV at home while the bag runs.
What a first session looks like
Every infusion is administered by licensed medical professionals under physician oversight. A first visit follows a simple arc:
- Your nurse arrives, reviews your health history, and checks vitals.
- The IV is placed, usually in the arm, and the drip starts at a conservative rate.
- Your nurse stays for the full infusion, watching how you respond and adjusting the pace.
- When the bag is done, the line comes out and you carry on with your day.
On expectations: some clients report feeling clearer or steadier in the days after a session, and some notice little the first time. Research on NAD+ outcomes is still developing, and an infusion is not a treatment or cure for any condition. Many clients who like it book a short series rather than judging by one visit. We would rather tell you that plainly than oversell it.
Booking an NAD+ session in the Charlotte area
We serve homes and offices around the Charlotte metro, and same-day appointments are often available, though NAD+ sessions are easier to schedule a day or two out given the longer visit. You can book online in a few minutes, or call 704.924.1300 if you want to talk it through first. If you are not sure NAD+ is the right fit, ask. Sometimes a standard hydration drip is the better starting point.
