Parts of our service happen electronically. Health screenings may be reviewed remotely by our medical team, and we may communicate with you by phone, text, email, or secure form about your visit. This page explains what that involves and what you agree to when you use those channels.

What telehealth means here

Before your visit, information you provide, including your screening answers and any relevant photos or records you choose to share, may be transmitted electronically to and reviewed by a licensed provider who is not physically present. That provider may approve, modify, or decline a treatment based on this review.

Benefits and risks

Electronic review lets us confirm that a treatment is appropriate without an extra office visit. It has limits: a remote provider cannot perform a hands-on examination, and technical failures can delay communication. Rarely, electronic transmission can be interrupted or accessed without authorization despite safeguards. We use commercially reasonable protections, and no method of transmission is perfectly secure.

Your choices

Telehealth is voluntary. You may decline electronic review and ask about alternatives, ask questions before consenting, and withdraw consent at any time before or during a visit without penalty. Declining may mean we cannot provide a particular treatment.

Records

Records of your screenings and visits are maintained like any other medical record and handled as described in our privacy policy. You may request a copy of your records.

Not for emergencies

Telehealth channels are not monitored for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

Consent

By submitting a screening or booking a visit, you acknowledge that you have read this page, understand it, and consent to the electronic review and communication described above.
